When to Use AQUA ESSENTIAL:

• At start-up of a new aquarium.
• Whenever adding or changing water.
• When tested levels of ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate are high.

Instructions:

• To treat tap water: Using the dosing cap, add 5 ml per 189 liters (50 US gallons) of aquarium water.
• To remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate: Add 5 ml per 38 liters (10 US gallons) of aquarium water. We advise waiting 24 hours after dosing and then performing a water change. Dosing within this 24-hour period is safe for your aquarium inhabitants. A follow-up water change is always beneficial.

Dosage Frequency: It is recommended to wait 24 to 48 hours between doses.

Duration of Binding: Once dosed, AQUA ESSENTIAL will bind ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate for up to 48 hours or longer. Regular testing is recommended to determine if additional dosing is necessary. For heavily stocked or overfed tanks with high levels, a partial water change after 24 hours is always beneficial to maintain optimal water quality. Importantly, the ammonia and nitrite bound by AQUA ESSENTIAL remain metabolically available for your beneficial bacteria to process, ensuring your biological filter continues to function effectively.

Expected Reduction per Dose (5 mL per 38 L / 10 US Gallons):

• Ammonia: 20-40 ppm reduction
• Nitrite: 15-30 ppm reduction
• Nitrate: Approximately 40-60 ppm reduction
