The Voracious, Bulldozing "Monster" Snail
Overview: The True Apple Snail is a massive, prehistoric-looking tank. Unlike the Mystery Snail, its shell features deep, heavily indented, V-shaped channels (sutures) between the spirals. They are typically wild-toned (yellowish-brown with dark bands) but can sometimes be found in bright gold.
Personality & Behavior: They are incredibly destructive, heavy-duty eating machines. They possess highly advanced, razor-sharp mouthparts capable of shredding tough vegetation. If you put a True Apple Snail into a beautifully aquascaped tank, it will systematically devour every single live plant down to the roots within days.

Care Level: Intermediate (Due to massive size, heavy waste production, and specific containment needs)

Diet: Voracious Herbivore (They require massive amounts of fresh greens: romaine lettuce, cabbage, zucchini, and pond weed. They will also opportunistically eat dead fish or smaller snails).
