Fantail Goldfish
Fantail Goldfish are the second most popular variety kept by aquarists after Comets.
Fantails are quite hardy and are suitable for ponds as long as they don’t have too many single caudal fin varieties in the same pond, as over time, they will dominate the feeding and outgrow the fantails.
Fantails come in several different variations depending on where you live, but do have a few characteristics that remain the same for all:
- Two caudal fins are always present
- Better specimens have two anal fins
- All fins are present.
