Because the 14% Dragon Lamp is incredibly powerful, it should only be used in enclosures that are at least 60 cm tall. To avoid overexposure, ensure the minimum safe distance between the lamp and your reptile's head at the highest basking point is 350 mm to 400 mm. This creates a safe, natural UV gradient, allowing your pet to move down or into the shade to regulate their UV intake just like they would in the wild!
