The Arcadia Reptile ProT5 Kit is the gold standard in modern reptile lighting. This "plug-and-play" system combines a high-quality, flicker-free electronic ballast with a highly reflective, removable mirror-finish reflector. The kit includes the world-renowned 6% UV-B T5 Forest Lamp, specifically engineered to simulate the dappled sunlight found in forest canopies.
Unlike standard lighting, the ProT5 provides a smooth, wide flood of UV-B, allowing your reptile to thermoregulate and synthesize Vitamin D3 naturally. Its sleek, low-profile design allows it to be mounted inside a vivarium or placed securely on top of a mesh-topped terrarium.

How to Use

Mounting: Use the included metal clips to screw the fixture into the ceiling of your wooden vivarium, or place it directly over the mesh of a glass terrarium.

Installation: Insert the 6% T5 lamp into the fixture and twist to lock it into place.

Positioning: Ensure the lamp is positioned over the "basking zone" so the animal can choose to move in and out of the UV-B gradient.

Connection: Plug the power lead into the mains. If using multiple kits, use the link cable to connect the first unit to the second.

Replacement: For optimal UV performance, the 6% T5 lamp should be replaced every 12 months, even if it still appears "bright" to the human eye.
Target Pets
The 6% Forest Lamp is ideal for "Ferguson Zone 2" shade-dwelling or forest-dwelling species that require moderate levels of UV-B, including:
