This is the perfect nature-nurturing pack for families and those looking to introduce biodiversity into their backyards. The kit contains a natural coconut feeder, energy-rich food & seed, a nectar mix for tūī, korimako (bellbirds) and tauhou (silvereyes), and a wildflower mix to attract beneficial insects.
Creating thriving natural habitats in the garden requires a balanced approach of establishing bug-friendly plants and encouraging local native birdlife. The Bio Booster Starter Kit has been created to ensure nature lovers can quickly and easily introduce and support biodiversity in their backyards.
Made in New Zealand with vegetable fat, Energy Truffles are likely to attract the native tauhou / silvereye, if present, as well as introduced species such as the yellowhammer, sparrow, thrush and blackbird. Sweet Wild Bird Nectar is formulated to mimic the profile of native plant nectar, much loved by nectarivorous birds like the tūī, korimako / bellbird and tauhou / silvereye. New Zealand-grown Wild Finch Mix is blended to attract finches, sparrows and other seed-eaters.

Instructions for use: Fill the coconut shell with either an Energy Truffle or Wild Finch Mix. Alternate between the two and see which birds come in for a feed. Mix the Wild Bird Nectar according to the instructions on the packet and serve either in a shallow bowl or a Topflite Nectar Feeder. Always place bird food high off the ground to keep birds safe from predators. It may take some time for the birds to recognise the new food items. Replenish food regularly and always clean feeders before refilling.
Store in a cool dry place. Contains compostable or recyclable packaging.
