Vetafarm Breeding Aid is a high-potency, oil-based nutritional supplement specifically formulated for breeding birds on seed-based diets. It provides a concentrated source of essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins that are often lacking in dry seeds but are critical for successful reproduction, embryo development, and chick vitality.
By using a unique "soak" method, the oils penetrate the seed hull through osmosis, ensuring the bird receives the nutrients directly when they eat the kernel.
Enhances Fertility: Contains a blend of essential fatty acids (Linoleic, Palmitic, and Oleic) known to improve male fertility and increase egg size and quality.
Improves Hatchability: Supports the development of strong, healthy egg membranes, which are vital for embryo survival and successful hatching.
Fortified with Vitamins:
Vitamin A: Crucial for cell development and reproductive health.
Vitamin D3: Essential for calcium absorption, bone growth, and eggshell formation.
Vitamin E: A powerful antioxidant that protects cell membranes during the stress of the breeding cycle.
Ideal for High-Yield Layers: Particularly beneficial for smaller birds (like Finches, Canaries, and Budgies) that produce large clutches or multiple clutches per season.

To maximize nutrient absorption, the supplement should be soaked into the seed before feeding:
Mix: Add 20mL of Breeding Aid per 1kg of seed.
Combine: Mix thoroughly by hand to ensure an even coating.
Soak: Allow the mixture to sit for 12 to 24 hours before feeding to allow the oil to penetrate the seed kernels.
Storage: Treated seed can be prepared in batches to last up to one week. Any treated seed not used on the first day should be stored in the refrigerator.
