We currently have 4 self-employed pet groomers that work out of the Otago Petfoods building. All of the groomers have varying levels of expertise with a wide variety of dogs and breeds. They were all formally employed by Mudpuppy, but have now gone on to open their own businesses

Hi! Im Rachael, I'm an experienced dog groomer with over a decade of hands-on experience, and it truly is my dream job.
My journey began as a bather while I was working as a vet nurse at a local clinic. When my children were young, I decided to retrain as a dog groomer, seeking a career that offered more flexibility for my family. Since then, I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with two well-known and respected grooming businesses.
For the past two years, I've been happily self-employed, operating out of the Otago Petfoods premises, which you might remember as the former home of Mudpuppy. I have experience working with all breeds and temperaments of dogs, from pet clips to breed trims!
My love for dogs has been a lifelong passion, so working with them every day is incredibly rewarding. At home, my furry best friend is Jake, a 14-year-old Fox Terrier - not much grooming is required there!
