The Trixie Walker Active Protective Boots are ideal for dogs of all breeds and sizes that frequently walk or run on challenging terrains, hot surfaces, or need protection for existing paw injuries. They are perfect for active dogs, hiking companions, and urban explorers.
Wearing In: Just like human shoes, dog boots need to be worn in. Please advise customers to start with short walks initially. Trying to go for a long walk straight away risks giving the dog blisters or discomfort. Gradually increase walk duration.
Dewclaw Check: When putting on the boots, sometimes the dewclaw (if present) can get hooked up inside the boot. It’s important to ensure it is not caught and that it lies flat against the foot to prevent irritation or injury.
